Down

Down is the original fill for insulated jackets and is in many ways still the best type of insulation. Insulation is created by trapped air space, and down lofts to take up more space than any synthetic type of insulation. That means that a down jacket will be lighter in weight than a comparably warm synthetic jacket. It will also be easier to pack. Down also has the advantage of durability. Properly cared for down can last a lifetime. Finally, down is comfortable and down’s higher breathability gives down a little broader comfort range than synthetics.
Recycled

This garment contains recycled fabric. The Yarn is made with used plastic bottles which are ready to be recycled, they are cut, chopped, and melted, then formed into flakes. Recycled Yarn is gained from these flakes to make recycled fabrics.
