15K waterproof, breathable 3-layer membranes that encapsulate Crab Grab's insulation and liners. The microporous structure prevents water from entering, while allowing water vapor (your sweat) to escape.

PFAS Free DWR Coating:

The Crab Shell fabrics have a durable water repellent coating that is PFAS free, preventing moisture from passing through the mitten’s exterior.

Heavy-Duty Nylon Crab Shells:

2-layer, laminated, high-denier, durable, bluesign® and OEKO-TEX® nylon shell fabrics. Offered in three weights: King Crab (heavy), Crab (mid), and Soft Shell (light). The Chop Mitt has the Crab (Mid) Shell.
