The Chop is a high-end, winterproof glove with workwear-inspired style, made for people who’d rather be snowboarding than working. Its animal-alternative, 100% vegan AX® Grain Tech exterior pairs a wrapping palm construction with fewer seams for added durability.

Micro Fruzz™ liners, HOT CLAW™ insulation made from 100% recycled, BLUESIGN®-approved materials, and a 15K Dry-Claw Hipora® membrane help keep hands warm and dry. A PFAS-free DWR coating, debossed Grip Grid palm, sure-grip resin-enhanced palm insulation, and ergonomic pre-curved fit are designed for comfort and confident grip on the mountain.

HOT CLAW™ Insulation:

Warm your hands (not the globe) with Crab Grab's OEKO-TEX®, bluesign® approved, and Global Recycled Standard certified toasty HOT CLAW™ insulation.

15K Dry-Claw Hipora® Membrane:

15K waterproof, breathable 3-layer membranes that encapsulate Crab Grab's insulation and liners. The microporous structure prevents water from entering, while allowing water vapor (your sweat) to escape.

PFAS Free DWR Coating:

The Crab Shell fabrics have a durable water repellent coating that is PFAS free, preventing moisture from passing through the mitten’s exterior.

Heavy-Duty Nylon Crab Shells:

2-layer, laminated, high-denier, durable, bluesign® and OEKO-TEX® nylon shell fabrics. Offered in three weights: King Crab (heavy), Crab (mid), and Soft Shell (light). The Chop Glove has the Crab (Mid) Shell.

AX® Laredo:

Goat leather alternative, comparable in dexterity, with exceptional durability, and significant sustainability benefits.
