Ventile® Cotton:

Ventile® is a durable and weather-resistant material, specially designed to withstand the harshest conditions. Unlike artificial materials, Ventile® stands out for its breathability, making it one of the best weatherproof fabrics available. Made from the finest extra-long staple cotton, the fabric's yarn is carefully selected and spun into a uniform texture. To increase its strength and resistance, the yarn is doubled after spinning. The fabric is also finished with a Water Repellent treatment that is PFAS-free, ensuring maximum protection against rain.

Ventile®'s original design dates back to before World War II, when the British Royal Airforce needed a dry and breathable fabric for their fighter pilots in case of a crash in the cold North Atlantic. After numerous attempts, Ventile was created, enabling pilots to stay cool in their cockpits and avoid hypothermia in the ocean.
