The Ballroom Collection is named after the last great obstacle Amundsen faced before becoming the first man to set foot on the South Pole, The Devil’s Ballroom. The Devil’s Ballroom is what Amundsen called the most challenging glacier they had to conquer on their quest for the South Pole.
